Ring-necked Duck. Chigborough lakes.

Jimmy just in from work at 4 o'clock 10 minutes later we are on the way to look for the Ring-necked Duck in Essex, it's about 43 miles from home near Heybridge.
It's an easy ride with no traffic to talk off.
Brian already has this as a tick for this year, so just the two of us tonight, the walk to the second lake takes no time at all, we spot the target within 10 minutes.
We get good views of it, but it's to far out for any good photo's with my small lens.
On the way back to the car Jimmy hears a Lesser Whitethroat calling, so a quick look in the bushes reveals another year tick for us both.196 ticks up till now.
Off home now to be back in time for the football.
