Dipped at Languard for Subalpine Warbler.

Jimmy & I had planned to go on a 40 mile trip for the Ring-necked Duck in Essex, we were just going to go, when Brian phones to ask if we wanted to go with him to Languard to look for the Subalpine Warbler that everybody had seen on saturday.
Brian had to be home by about 10 o'clock so this was a very quick visit for us.
When we arrive a god few birders are here already, so hopes are high. We reach the main spot where they are all gathered, but we get the thumbs down, so we walk about looking to find it for our self. all over the place I see plenty of Linnet & Wheatear, But after a couple of hours of looking it's time to go home with a no show for the Warbler.
